Rome resort town of Santa Marinella...

In August Romans go to either the mountains in the north or the sea. But each Roman has their favorite beach. For most it's the Lido di Ostia which is near, cheap and convenient. For others it's Fregene or Anzio or Nettuno. But for the rest of us turismo nautico nella Provincia di Roma will always be La Marinella (named after St. Marina)!

Beautiful. Looks like a wonderful resort.
I hope more than just rich people can enjoy this.
The N.J. shore, which is near my home, is increasingly being over-developed and ruined by rich people, destroying the character and appearance of the classic N.J. shore towns (Ocean City, Avalon, Stone Harbor, Longport, Wildwood etc.).
I hope this never happens in Italy, at the beach resorts shown in the photos.

Not to be rude. But how do you live this way and have no money? And why should people give you there hard earned money. I could never travel to all the places you do and I would NEVER ask people to GIVE me money. Just asking. Honestly I don't mean to be rude. Nobody gave me money when I was in college I had to earn it. With times as tough as they are the only people I can think of who would have extra funds to contribute are the priests. But that would mean they could only take 3 vacations per year instead of the usual four or five. Well we all need to sacrifice.

I cannot see a 'donate' button on ORBIS CATHOLICVS BLOG ????

jpsonnen earns his keep by operating very comprehensive very Catholic tours of the Vatican etc.
I know for a fact that he gives many hours of volunteer time assisting the traditional community in Rome

You keep working hard now and who knows one day you can take a break too.
