Vote pro-life: we support Sarah Palin...

From the farflung corner of our Republic: "Be ye therefore wise as serpents and simple as doves."

Her kids have goofy names, but she's one of us and we are proud to support Sarah Palin with our vote.

There's a cockle in every election. And then there's the wheat. We prefer the wheat, John McCain and Co. So refreshing to see the all-American mom, Sarah, versus the all-American witches' besom, Mrs. Clinton.

Yesterday night in St. Paul, Minnesota she had her big performance. It was a success. She befits the stirring and unconditional support of all Christians. In Italy we prayed for the intercession of Archbishop John Carroll, contemporary and friend of George Washington, the Father of the Republic, for the success of her speech before the Nation.

"Take no thought how or what to speak, for it shall be given you in that hour what to speak" (Matthew 10:16-19).

We are cognizant of and look forward to her sweet influence.

The supremacy of the liberal media will never win.

Sorry, but Sarah Palin is a right-wing evangelical nutcase.

She is quoted as saying that the war in Iraq is a mission from God (absolutely sick), and has made worse comments.

Make no mistake, she and the Evangelicals and right-wingers might be anti-abortion, bt Evangelicals are also rabidly anti-Catholic.
Their likemindedness with regards to abortion is no reason/excuse to embrace them as good Christians or friends.

Also, the issues of pro-life and abortion are not the only issues in the Catholic Church which need addressing. The liturgical crisis etc. since Vatican II have never really been addressed or corrected.

One can still be pro-life, and be for Obama/Biden, like me. Rather than support two right-wing lunatics who represent the midnset and values of the hillbilly stock from which the evangelical cults originally sprung.

Don't kid yourself.

Thats remote material cooperation in abortion industry to vote for a pro-abort.

I can't believe that people would vote for two right-wing war mongering lunatics rather than to be personally opposed to abortion, work to end it on the side, and vote for reasoned, sane persons like Obama and Biden.

If, by some disaster, McCain and Palin get into office, it is the end of the Unired States.
There will be revolution in this country.
Them being against abortion may be a wonderful thing, but they are also FOR ideas and positions which is absolutely sick.....and reminds me of fascist states such as Nazi Germany.
McCain/Palin and the right wing Republicans suchas Bush and Carl Rove, Rush Limbaugh and many bible-thumping red-neck "preachers" believe that the USA is a nation "of God", that every action they take is of God, that to invade countries to bring "freedom" is mandated by God, that God spoke to Bush to start the Iraq War, that it is a holy mission that the USA can't loose. OPINIONS SICK BEYOND WORDS.
Also they support easing restrictions on ownership of guns (thus promoting more social violence), of huge tax breaks for the wealthy, of a contempt for the middle-class, a contempt for the enviornment and the Earth (believing it is here to serve mankind as ordained by God, so it doesn't matter how much we pollute or destroy the earth and ruin the enviornment), that global warming in a hoax, and that the U.N. are a bunch of wimps.
Their "kick-ass" attitude towards opposing nations (Iran, Iraq, N. Korea, Russia etc.), is wreckless and misguided (to use polite language).
Other nations who believed themselves ordained by God, or were a chosen race (Nazi Germany in particular) are now gone from the sceene, but plunged the world into ruin of wars.
This is the ideology of McCain/Palin, and their supporters.
I hope the USA people have the sense to repudiate them.
If not, there will be within 2-3 years of their administration....there might be less abortion, but there will also be more USA instigated wars, economic ruin both in the USA and Europe, political and social instability to the point of revolution here in the USA, and also in Europe, an enormous debt on top of the huge deficit created by BUsh, and a ruined USA.
I don;t think anyone would be stupid enough to support such an agenda._

heh heh... you know the left is really afraid when they're bringing up liturgical abuses to distract us from the import political issues.

This is perhaps the best blog for Catholic news and events....but please don't be so 100% for McCain and Palin.
You really have no idea what these insane right-wing bible thumping "Christians" plan. It would be twice as bad as Bush.
If you people actually support the Bush agenda, support Iraq, Afganistan wars...and the very real possibility of more under a nutjob like McCain/Palin, then I feel sorry for you.
The Roman Empire over-extended itself militarilly, and suffered over 150 years of economic and social discontent, political assasinations, and revolts before the Empire finally collapsed. The USA is well on it's way to the same fate....and will be hastened by McCain/Palin.
Other countries also wrapped themselves in the flag, and gave that as justification for everything....Nazi Germany, Serbia in the 1990's, Iran, Japan (during the Second World War), and even Israel (justifying the massacres and bombings of Lebanon 2-3x.)
Palin is a bombastic ideologue who will be brought down due to her own unethical governance of Alaska (watch the news about it, read CNN online.)
McCain is more of a buffoon than an ideologue. His views (like Reagan, Bush Jr., Rove, Limbaugh, are unhealthy views to espouse (to use polite language!!)

Ur problem is the inversion of means and ends, which results in giving the value of ultimate end to what is only a means for attaining it, or in viewing persons as mere means to that end.

In our country, sure.

Running to the defense of other countries to bring them "liberty"? FORGET IT!!!

My cousin, a Marine, was "Stop-Lossed" and shipped back to Iraq after an 18 month term supposedly to bring "liberty" to the Iraquis. He's finished his forced 2nd tour on Sept. 17th.

The Iraquis hate us....and my cousin says the Marines hate them back equally.
The guys hate being there.

So "Let Liberty Ring?", sure....for USA territory and homeland.
For other countries? Forget it.

Remember Iraq!!!!

I have six children and like Sarah Palin I would NEVER EVER CHOOSE to execute one of my unborn children. I pray that McCain/Palin win! I'm sick of the Hollywood celebs all thinking the same way except for a few like Jon Voigt, etc. I will support these pro-McCain celebs!!!
