Countless have asked for these photos and so here they are. It was a lovely Mass celebrated with great devotion. Great to see so many pious and devout faithful and clergy alike in the holy city of Rome!

Please, I mean no disrespect in the following comment. But I am very curious about taking flash photography during Mass. I am a hyprocrite to ask b/c on one hand I love the photos and enjoy your website very much, but on the other I wonder if I would have the courage to snap a photo during Mass. Are others taking photos? Again, I am not trying to offend I just wonder is flash photography causes grumbles for those in attendance. Again, please take no offense. I appreciate all that you do on this site. We all get to experience many things through you that we would not otherwise. God Bless.
Wow...there are few things cooler than a cleric wearing both a rochet and a surplice at the same time...The papal MC's used to wear both whenever they assisted at Mass (God bless old Cardinal Dante. May he rest in peace).
Thanks JP Sonnen for these and your continuing insights into Rome the Glorious. We don't thank you enough for your work. It is loved and appreciated. Just want to let you know.
