Catholic culture: the Latin letter...


This is how it's done: nice letterhead, nice handwriting, nice seal, nice rich paper... and niiiice Latin!

On the high altar of my parish church there is a framed letter, written in Latin, granting privileged status to the altar. Written to the pastor at the time, 1907, it was signed by Pope St. Pius X. I have a photo of it which I would share with you if I knew where to send it.
