This photo was taken in Liguria. This is what the sedilia most often looks like in Italy. Pastors, this is how it's done. Although it should be noted that it's sometimes better to have a lower back so as to be able to drape the vestments down behind when the clergy sit so as to not wrinkle or damage fabrics.
