You are so lucky to have such a great prelate as HE George Cardinal Pell, Archbishop of Sydney, celebrate a Pontifical High Mass in Rome soon.

A man of great intellect and wisdom, spiritual strength, compassion and kindness.

It's so sad he is all to often vilified in the Sydney media for his steady and straight adherence to catholic doctrine.

I noted in David Gibson's book 'The Rule of Benedict' he referred to Cardinal Pell as the Holy Father's 'bully boy'. Adherence to and preaching basic Catholic doctrine is 'bullying'?. Maybe Cardinal Pell's impressive stature is intimidating to those who wish to challenge him.

But outside St Mary's Cathedral in Sydney after he has celebrated Mass
this impressive man is ready with a kind smile, firm but gentle hand shake and heart warming 'God bless" to all who greet him.

I dread that soon the Holy Father will call Cardinal Pell to Rome to head a major congregation. This would be a well deserved honor for Cardinal Pell. It indeed would also be a singular honor for the church in Australia (though regrettably half the church in Oz won't see it as that!)

I certainly hope John you will be able to up load photos of this mass to be celebrated by Cardinal Pell and that you will also have the opportunity to meet such a great and good man.
