And the Church in Her wisdom gave us: the biretta!

Father Kevin Fitzpatrick, a wonderful 52 year old traditional Roman Catholic priest who died suddenly and prematurely, had his last wish fulfilled with a beautifully sung Solemn High Requiem Mass. An on the top of the the pall that draped his coffin was his beautiful biretta. I will never forget that.
