A friend of mine is feeling down because her daughter grew into a Jezebel. This brings great saddness to a parent. Please pray for the triumph of grace in this situation.
What is a parent to do? You raise your kids the best you can and this is what they turn into? And pastors share in this agony, too, when they do their best to teach their flock and then somebody acts up.
Sometimes the best advice is to just let them go. This way you keep your sanity. Save yourself. Protect your own well-being. Give it to the Lord, forgive them and move on.
Even St. John says:
"Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy."
-Revelation 22:11
