Pio XII: santo subito...

The caprice and bigotry of countless individuals against this man's canonization process is enough to make one want to barf. It's even a kind of fanaticism, but dont' be daunted.
St. Thomas Aquinas asks the question in his Summa: "Should Christ have preached to the Jews without offending them?"
Uncompromising are we in our love of Judaism and of our love for this mighty giant of the xxth century. He was a saint.

I'm hurt by the way the Holy See is allowing that Pius XII and catholics be insulted by some Jews.

Yes. Time for the Pope and Vatican to repudiate these Jews (and dialog with them if necessary) in no uncertain terms.

PS- Apparently the comment reported by some rabbi that Benedict XVI is contemplating shutting down Pius XII's cause for Beatification for 7+ years at least so documents can be examined pertaining to his WW II record is totally innaccurate....if not an outright lie.

Such a surprise. LOL!!!!!!!

It is beyond my understanding why Benedict is allowing this people to insult catholics in this way. His actions are making the cause of Pius XII an state matter, and it is not a state matter but a religious matter. It is hurting more than helping. If the pope wants to engage in dialog with Jews and Israel it can only be done from a stance of honesty and respect for Catholics. Let Israel and some Jews continue with their barks against Pius XII. JPII stood up to these people when he beatified Pius IX. Benedict XVI, if he is a great pope, must do the same.

I am a Jew and real Jews support Pius XII with words for the late Pontiff:

"I know your tribulation and your poverty (but you are rich) and the slander of those who say that they are Jews and are not, but are a synagogue of Satan. Do not fear [...]!"
