Ever anxious to serve...a missioner in Russia?

Is being a missioner just sacerdotal or can there be a lay missioner abroad?

Some give by going to the missions.
Others go by giving to the missions.
Without both, there are no missions.

Into the arena, priest and layman, there are many Catholic missioners serving in the outposts of Christianity. Have you ever been to visit a farflung mission of the Church? I did...in Russia! Visit the site of the mission that I was twice a volunteer at (www.vladmission.org)! Every mission abroad is signally effective because they bring the Church to the people. We are all beneficiaries of our Catholic Faith...let's bring it to others! New vicariates and prefectures wait to be created. The sweet influence of Christ waits to be shared. Russia is a field afar. But, if you are called to be God's coadjutor there as His ambassador, then do pray about it. I was never cognizant of the beauty of the mission effort until I went to see one for myself. Christ is always glorified in the sacrifice of missionary activity. So many Catholic persons have spent themselves, even to the point of loss of health, in order to spread the mission idea over the length and breadth of the farflung lands!
