We made a pilgrimage to the Cathedral in Genoa to the tomb of Giuseppe Cardinal Siri. He was Cardinal Archbishop of the Genoa See for forty years. He had been born there in 1906. Created cardinal in 1953, he had been the youngest living cardinal in the Church.
All readers of this blog and of all other Catholic blogs were prayed for at this tomb. He's a modern patron saint of sacred liturgy. May he pray for us and may we pray for him.
