Best comment this blog has ever received...

"One should not look for fly poop in the pepper. Just enjoy the lovely photo for what it is!"

Thank you for this comment, somebody!

These photos are meant to give people a sense of hope.

All too often traditionalist Catholics have a wounded sense of hope. Sad, but evident and harmful.

Faith, hope and charity and if your hope is in the gutter then fix it with the help of the Holy Ghost and move on.

And stop bitching about Vatican II all the time.

While most of us lack the theological competence to do anything other than "bitch" about Vatican II, your comment minimizes the grave spiritual crisis that exists in the Church today -- a crisis that stems directly or indirectly from Vatican II.

I agree.

Also, have you thought about "excluding" yourself from the banner photo where you're featured so prominently (perhaps over prominently)? From many posts of yours, you wish this to be an inspiration, but it shouldn't be of you.

Apart from this, you are doing a great job :)

Personally I like the title banner - it adds a personality and face to the blog. (+ its a well shot photo)

“The sense of universalism that is rampant in Rome these days is very close to our purpose for existence… with all our hearts we support the revolution of John XXIII.” - Yves Marsaudon, 33rd degree Scottish Rite Freemason

He wasn't bitching about it, so I will!

This is favorite blog of mine, but don't ignore the elephant in the room...
