I think it's "Italian Momma", not mammy!!

No offense, (and I really think it's humerous), but "Mammy" is a term used in the USA South solely to describe Black women ( especially mothers or grandmothers). Among Black Americans,, it is seen as a high inflammatory word.
If you ever saw the classic movie "Gone with the Wind", and caught the magnificent performance of the late Hattie McDaniel playing the steriotypical domineering Black maid in a Southern household with kerchief on her head....that is "a mammy".

"Momma" is the classic Italian. Or "Moma". But not "mammy" LOL!!
