March 11, 2009: BXVI and the '62 Breviary...
A historic moment: Benedikt meets Benedikt (http://exsultet.net/mb/?p=21). Benedikt Trost, youthful German publisher from near Cologne, who is reprinting all of the glorious old liturgical books of yesteryear (in all of their original glory), had the honor to present the German Pope a specially bound 1962 Breviarum Romanum in white and gold embossed leather. Watch out liturgical publishers, this is the return to glory!

It was in the same spot a couple years ago that Msgr. Wach, the ICRSS Superior, presented His Holines with a copy of the '62Ceremoniale Episcoporum. I wonder if he now expects to recieve gifts of old liturgical books there...
Best buy I've made in a long time. The quality of the care and materials is wonderful.
