The Pontifical Armenian College in Rome...





Many nations have a collegio in Rome. The collegio is a palazzo where clerics live (this includes seminarians). The Collegio Armeno was established by Pope Leo XIII.
In the top photo is the His Beatitude Nerses Bedros XIX the Catholic Patriarch of Cilicia of Armenian Catholics. He's really nice and a joy to chat with.
Many don't know this, but Armenia is a Christian country, the first nation in the world to legalize Christianity.
