It was never planned this way, but as a Rome tour guide one of the greatest joys of life has proven to be the act of entering into the Sistine Chapel, now countless times, month after month, (for free!).
While meditating on the words of the Apostle to the Gentiles: "Il Signore ama chi dona con gioia" (2 Cor. 9,7), it occured that this joy ought to be transformed into a prayer. And so now when I enter into the Sistine Chapel a pious prayer is offered for every person who has supported and continues to support my being here as a graduate student of the sacred science in the Holy City.
Thanks, guys!
And the cookies were great, Deb!
