The Church is young!

Accipe Spiritum Sanctum (Receive the Holy Spirit)!
This prayer is from the Roman Pontifical, from the Consecration of a Bishop. It is pronounced by the consecrator and by the co-consecrators, as they lay their hands upon the person being consecrated (ca. 10th century).

Expect a good deal more of the same in years to come! The Catholic Church is universal and the growth in Africa, Asia and even parts of the Middle East is notable and sometimes explosive.

They are a reason for our hope!
