The greatest of spiritual classics: De Imitatione Christi...


Raph saved this one from used book store orbit in northern Europe.

The stricture of the Imitation of Christ is this: "Son, in many things it behooveth thee to be ignorant." Productive of ascetic monasticism, there is so much wisdom in this truth.
