Next to the main altar is this tomb of a former grand prior of the Knights of Malta. It was really nice to see it so decorated with fresh flowers and blessed candles for the feast day. I hope we can always bring these Catholic traditions to the New World and so live our liturgical heritage in every pocket of the globe.
