Unicum is rather popular here in Germany, although personally I'm not a great fan of bitters. I'm not so sure about how Catholic Hungary is, though... and the name of this liquor goes back to "enlightened" (=anticlerical) German Emperor Joseph II, the black sheep of the Habsburgs ;-)
