Papal thrones are baaaaack...



For thirty years these thrones were not seen. In 1978 Pope John Paul II decided not to use them and they were put in the Lateran Palace museum. Even John Paul I used them.
But tradition is baaaaack and the B16 busted them out, had them refurbished, and now they can be seen again with the Pope enthroned in them at long last.
