Can you imagine the uproar from the progressives...and the Jews???
And the Protestants!!!

If these people react so angrilly, then Pope Benedict XVI must be doing something very right!!!

Pray for our tremendously courageous Pope Benedict XVI!!
I really didn't think he had it in him. I'm shocked...but in a good way.

It means that Paul VI and John Paul II in their persecution of the SSPX for their defending the Catholic traditions and the Traditional Mass were WRONG.

If the excommunication of the four Bishops were removed then this would be tremendous news and proof positive that praying the Holy Rosary does work.
Sadly all that has been ‘confirmed’ at present is that the Holy See will issue a statement on Saturday 24 January 2009. It is ‘possible’ that such statement may deal with the lifting of the excommunication of the four FSSPX bishops. On the other hand it may not be about lifting the excommunication.
So lets wait in prayer until tomorrow.

Twenty plus years outside of the Church's pale is a long time.

Like the Roman Catechism says: "Schismatics are excluded from the Church" and "Excommunicated persons are not members of the Church."

No longer cut off by sentence, let's get some work done for tradition!
