To touch where He was born...

With my mind racing with profound emotion, it was my turn to lay prostrate atop the shiny marble and reverence the spot where Jesus was born...

Overcome with emotion, I kissed the silver and reached my hand down to the stone, and strangely, whispered this one prayer: "Grant me salvation, O Lord. Let me be a just man in Your sight."

So John, we get the impression from your Blog that you are not in Italia this Christmas.
It looks like a great experience!

John,

You are tempting me to the sin of envy! First you meet His Imperial and Apostolic Majesty and now you make pilgrimage to the Holy Land! Next, I suppose, you'll take a short trip to Paris to really get me going! Seriously, hope you're having a wonderfully spiritual trip.
