I treasure this photo! This sweet woman was my Latin professor in Rome. She's from the north, near Milan, and she studied Latin in school from the time she was ten until she was twenty! She is a philosopher and she speaks Latin - very well, too!Her being from the north, I just love to hear her bash Rome: "Roma, is impossible to live in, just impossibile!" she explains.
It's always a joy to have a smoke with her while in the cortile of the Ang and to hear her speak of her home in the north "in the valley" or the current state of things in Italy. Ti voglio un mondo di bene, Clementina!

I love her!
I just lucked into her today and assisted her a little while she walked up some stairs and she told me how important it is especially for elderly women to pay attention to such details as the right gloves and the right handbag to go with the costume they are wearing.
