Piero Marini: acta est fabula (the play is over)...


The above are the dying words of Augustus. There's good news from the Vatican City and the days of the sad disregard for the rubricae generales missalis in the Vatican City are coming to an end.
Mons. Guido Marini, the new papal master of ceremonies, just made his debut in Rome and looked great - prayerful and by the book. He believes in the old Latin adage that "laws are subservient to custom" (leges mori serviunt).
Makes me just want to shout in Latin the word for wonderful: babae!
