A great day to be in Rome is any November 2nd. Many thousands of Romans on that day all go to the cemetery to make their annual visit. They bring flowers, pray, stoll and clean the family tombs.
Meanwhile, the F.S.S.P. in Rome sang a lovely Gregorian Requiem that was very well attended. This is a photo from just before all the many candles were placed around the funeral bier.
