The glorious altar missal...


Of course everybody loves an antique altar missal: the old sheepskin with red pigment and gold embossed cover is always the best. This one weighed a ton and almost had to be carried in a canvas sling.

Do you know if one can still purchase a pre-conciliar Ambrosian Missal? If so, where?

yes, modernists always sought to scheme against the sacred rites (but god will smote them).

because this rite was basically consigned for annihilation in the '60s, its missal is still out of print. at used book stores in milan you might be able to find one with ease or in a monastery library back stateside.
