The Pope's tailor in Rome...

When you're in Rome be sure to visit Signor Gammarelli on the Via Santa Chiara to see where the Pope gets his clothes from. The Pope is only measured and fitted in the Vatican and only by the senior member of the Gammarelli family. If you're a seminarian order your casscok from here for some qualita.

Would I be right in suggesting that Benedict XVI does not receive his sartorial supplies from Gammarelli?

That's a mystery. He had at least one cassock made at Mancinelli (Borgo Pio) because the first Gammarelli cassock was a very poor fit.

If you're a seminarian, and don't mind waiting for about a YEAR, then you can be satisfied with thw superior quality.

This chasuble is horrible! And the alb is a mechanic-lace!

Yes, computers make most of the lace these days. We need young nuns and others to learn from the legends the craftsmanship before they all die off.
