These religious are the Crozier Fathers and Brothers (Canons of the Holy Cross), founded in the early 12th century originally.

In the USA, they became very liberal after Vatican II (no surprise), lost a ton of their members, and just closed up most of their USA houses and consolidated into 1 Province.
Down to about 55 in the USA, from about perhaps close to 300 before Vatican II.
Sad, because they have a great tradition, and a very unique and colorful religious habit....which I'm happy to see them wearing.

They have a fairly strong presence in Indonesia...of all places.
