Rome Student Christmas Party: abito scuro...

Every year in Advent, on the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception, just before everybody starts to travel home for the holidays, somebody hosts the annual Christmas party for Rome students.
This year was a blast and it was great to see and chat with everybody. I am very proud of our Catholic ladies - they are the most beautiful and talented women on the globe.
At the same time it provides a nice opportunity to chat about modesty in dress. It is not enough for clergy to speak about this from the pulpit. But Christian dads, too, need to sit down with their sons and daughters and have this talk from the youngest age. Dads, I look to you, as does the Holy Writ, to inform and protect the purity of your households.
