Feast of Immaculate Conception in Civitavecchia...


Archconfraternities are big in Italy. I come from a Protestant nation, but I sure wish we had them back home (such a lay witness they are - on the streets - and each with an apostolate).

Thanks for the comment on my page. BTW, I've been meaning to ask you something. When I was in Rome last I noticed that many parishes have the laudable custom of singing the 'Salve Regina' after the main Mass of the Sunday. The question I have is this: is the 'Salve' followed by the versicle and collect?
