I appreciate your blog and your wonderful posts and photos very much! I especially enjoyed the info on Principessa Elettra Marconi and have sent for and read her book as a result.
However, I must correct you use of language in this latest post:
This is not an "indult" concerning the Tradl Mass. That is precisely what it is not. That would be a permission to do something that is not normally permitted. The Pope is acknowledging that this Rite has never been abrogated, therefore it cannot be said to be an indult, nor does he himself use the word. Also, I know you mean the best but there is no "Tridentine Rite." Again, that is precisely what the Pope is saying it is not: it is certainly not Tridentine because it predates that Council in most of its aspects by hundreds and even a thousand years and secondly, the Pope is saying the Tradl Mass is one part of the one Roman Rite. I know you mean no harm and this is why I venture to make these observations. Thank you again for yoru time and effort on this excellent blog!

¡Because the Latin Mass is more beautiful! Hm. I would say it is a perfect catholic mass, while the Novus Ordo is an imperfect catholic mass. Beauty derives from its perfectness.

yes, there is great joy in this motu proprio and we can now observe its many fruits as they blossom during this era.

the kingdom of god reintroduced among men by the incarnation of christ includes the many rites that the church has always had.

we rejoice in the will of the father as christ came to set a most perfect example of a man totally dedicated in all things and at all times to the will of the father and we can each do the same in our approach to the authority of the church.
