Every Holy Thursday in Rome it's always a treat to make a quick visit to lots of churches after Holy Mass to see the decorated altar of repose in each open church. One of the best is this altar seen here at S. Maria dell'Orto in Trastevere.

This is an amazing church. Do you have any more pics of it?
Santa Maria del Orto is hands down the nicest one, even though it is liturgically flawed. It is on the main altar and it has many side altars. But no doubt, it is the nicest. Others in that side of Trastevere are Santa Francesca a Ripa, Santa Cecilia, San Benedetto in Piscinula and San Giovanni. Santa Maria del Orto is open until 1:00 and San Benedetto all night. Plenary indulgence for visiting 7 churches, by praying 7 OFs, HMs and Glories with the other conditions. Plus it is really a boast to the soul.
