Here you can find a picture of the Cappello Romano with embroideries: The red summer Saturno in straw of H.H. Pope Benedict XVI, the white summer Saturno in straw of H.H. John XXIII and a black beaver-hair Saturno of an Archbishop. These hats are simply wonderful made, marvelous craftsmanship with golden bouillon and golden frisé thread, everything hand embroidered.

My new book Kopfbedeckungen in Religion, Glaube und Spiritualität will be published in June 2009. There can be found over 450 high-quality pictures of the headcoverings worn by the dignitaries of the different churches and religions.
