When the sisters arrived in 1968 they had nothing. So they stayed at the nearest parish, S. Stefano.
Soon after the nuns themselves built this property with the assistance of the neighbors.
The first Rome bedroom of Mother Teresa can be seen here on the left (the cell with the window).
It was an honor to enter the little bedroom and pray. Today, transitional deacons take turns staying in the room.
