Milestones...Belarus Cardinal retires!

This is a photo of a Roman Catholic parish in Moscow, Russia...it survived! It's the Church of Saint Louis, King of France. Even with all the Soviet railing against the Church for all those decades, this property survived as it was attached to the French Embassy legation.

Kazimierz Cardinal Swiatek, a survivor of the Soviet gulags, just retired this month as head of the Archdiocese of Minsk-Mohilev, in Belarus. He's 91 years old and spent 10 years in Soviet forced-labor camps!
