Lost art: how the episcopal glove ought to look...


This photo is an example of the right way to make a glove. It's an antique, perhaps from the fifties.

Today, times have changed and sadly, even the best and most famous of liturgical tailors in Rome don't get it right and have, in short, lost this art.

Anyways, this photo is how it's done (for posterity sake!) and why does it take a layman who is a non-tailor to point this out?
