Every Italian just loves this Christmas song with every bit of their heart: Tu Scendi Dalle Stelle.
Look it up on the Internet and learn it with your kids. The melody was written by St. Alphonsus Liguori (m. 1787) and the words were re-written by Blessed Pius IX (m. 1878).

I will always remember while in Palestine being on the bus on our way to Midnight Mass at the grotto of Bethlehem with all the Italians singing their hearts out with this terrific carol.
