Lost art: how the gloves ought to be made...

Can everybody see the difference here?
And can somebody please forward this post to every ecclesial tailor in Rome? In very recent years they (the Roman tailor firms) have lost this art and somebody ought to complain.
The red glove is from perhaps circa 1950s. This is an example of how the gloves used to be made: good form, fits right, looks right, manly looking and an in short, quality. In other words, perfect!
Now can you see the difference between the old red glove and the modern violent and white gloves?
The violet and white gloves are what an elegant lady would wear to a ball in Vienna. It's a woman's glove: long slender fingers, tiny wrist, long up to the elbow. Why?! Clearly, not made for the hands of men. And no wonder bishops don't want to be caught dead buying (or wearing) such gloves.
This is why we look to Tridentinum and this is why we hope cottage industry in vestment making will really take off some day soon.

Looks a bit to me as if Cardinl Pell was wearing the new inferior medle gloves.

Thanks a lot for your post: the difference between our (male) gloves and (female) wedding gloves by our competitors it's clear, now that we represent a new opportunity for our customers. We have a glovemaker who works exclusively for us, as well as ten embroiderers who take in care embroideries for gloves, sandals, mitres and - of course - vestments. I hope you may appreciate our effort to reproduce traditional roman models. For sure, we have a lot of Bishops who likes our pontifical gloves, especially with embroidered arms in gold, silver and pearls...

Those are evidently Gammarelli gloves (too expensive and too feminine).

I saw @KlaveCentesca on Twitter makes some nice custom episcopal gloves in the gauntlet style with awesome embroideries too. You may want to google them.
