Custom: arms on the "infulae" of a mitre...


These photos were taken of the infula of the mitre of the Archpriest of the Vatican Basilica, Angelo Card. Comastro. The infula are the pendant ornaments that hang from the back of the mitre (tall bishops' hat). Notice the (modern) quality craftsmanship here of the embroidered coat-of-arms.
