The Roman style cope...

These are glorious, but sadly not really seen in America. The next time you find yourself in Rome, just order one for your pastor as a gift (with a matching stole) on the Via di Santa Chiara, 34 (near the Pantheon).

What is the price tag on one of those copes?

it's an earlier version of the mantell. (perhaps the earliest) which i guess is worn by any m.c. (lay or ordained) in the see of milan (or what was the see of milan during the reign of carlo bor.) over the cassock...

the copes cost a small fortune. you can ask them although it will depend on which materials are used, etc: gammarelli.sartoria@libero.it .

this is not a rochet, this is a cotta. That's not a mantellone, that's a soprana. From the m.c. in the photo
