Carriage of Pius IX...


These two photos were taken in the "Carriage Museum" of the Vatican Museums (an underground bunker with old papal carriages and autos).

Anon,
During the 1974 fuel crisis, Paul VI did use a pony and trap, but most definitely not a carriage dating from the days of the Papal States !
