Still so grateful!
How many times can we remember how we "sat down by the streams of Babylon and wept there, remembering Sion" (Psalm 136:1 [137:1 RSV]).
And now Sion is back, after a long winter.
The discomfiture of not having had our liturgical patrimony for so long still gives us pain that we feel in the pit of our hearts.
But now we rejoice and thank our Holy Father, now gloriously reigning.
The rite that will not die: the Gregorian rite.

... Tibi Cherubim et Seraphim
incessabili voce proclamant:
Sanctus.
Sanctus.
Sanctus
Dominus, Deus Sabaoth.
Pleni sunt caeli et terra
maiestatis gloriae tuae!
