Today in Italy is the liturgical feast day of Blessed John XXIII. Also, it's the anniversary of the day in which VII was opened with great solemnity in 1962.

I was blown away by this book when I first read it this summer. It introduced me to the great thought of Benedict XVI. Messori's other Q&A book - Crossing the Threshold of Hope, with John Paul II, is my other favorite.
