Lay forces for the papacy...


Count Enrico Galeazzi was a lay warrior for the papacy. He came to America in 1936. He was the Chief Architect of the Sacred Apostolic Palaces (of the Vatican City). May he pray for us!

... as well as being the architect of the Pontifical North American College on the Janiculum. The count's family still come to the College once a year to hear Mass for him. I believe the Mass is generally said there at the altar beside his tomb.

yes, count galeazzi was a saint. it was his half-brother, dr. ricardo galeazzi-lisi, who had his office on the via sistina as a ophthalmologist who kind of ended up being a jackal as i heard...
