Requiem Mass today...


Today we remember all the souls of the faithful departed in a special way (it's All Souls Day!). Each priest can read 3 Masses today and so I'm off to visit my parish in Rome so as to pray for the dead, including my granny who died earlier this year.

N.B. Black vestments and no liberal white ones!

priest do not read masses they offer the holy sacrifice of the mass--please revise---i know you are smarter than that

Of course every Mass is prayed or offered. But every Mass, too, is either sung or the opposite, read. So, if it's not a sung Mass, then it is read...
