Louvain (before the disaster of Vatican II), was one of the premiere seminaries and Catholic universities in the entire Church.
Many great Catholic scholars, especially the magnificent Archbishop Fulton J. Sheen went there.
Thanks to Vatican II, the corrupt dissident faculty, and radical Cardinals and bishops who oversaw the place, I think it's just about closed down today.
Can you please update to my new blog?

Surely it's a ghost of it's former glory.
The fruits of Vatican II get worse and worse.
What do you mean by 'got bad'
ReplyDeleteLeuven got liberal in the sixties and went sour quick as did other great Catholic Universities of the time such as Laval, etc.
ReplyDeleteStella Artois was being sued by other companies for degrading the name of beer.
