One word: gorgeous. This is a pianeta (Roman style chasuble) as seen in Rome. In the old days lots of bishops and canons had their coat-of-arms embroidered on the lower part of their chasuble or on the front two bottoms of their copes. Heirlooms. Catholic ladies, the Church looks to you!
Now that is perhaps the most interesting ecclesiastical coat-of-arms I've seen in a long time. I'm going to guess that the dove and tower have some sort of relationship to Popes Pius XII and John XXIII, but very unique nonetheless.
