I can count 3 new Orders which have re-introduced monastic tonsure for their members:
1) Dominicans of Avrille (SSPX Order) 2) Toca de Assis brothers (Brazil), a community of several hundred brothers...Franciscan observance. They also have branches of apostolic and cloistered nuns. 3). Canons Regular of the New Jerusalem.
