A philosopher in Rome might explain to you that the real counterpoise to belief is "inattention." Why is inattention the friend of the devil? Perhaps the devil seeks our inattention so as to get his work done. The devil will tell you that Western Christendom is already dead, but I still see it just dying...The Islamic nations built the largest mosque in Europe, with great strategy, in Rome (financed mostly by the Saudis). I've seen it, near to the famed Ponte Milvio. Only since these recent years now do we see here these many, many thousands of Mohammedans who crawl all over Rome, Milan and the rest of Europe. You see them in the cruddy suburbs of Rome or on the subway/tube on a Sunday morning. They always arrive in Italy in overcrowded boats from North Africa - boats loaded with mostly men and some pregnant women.
I noticed this the last time I was in Rome in 2001. It was right after 9/11 (November) and my husband and I were walking in a park near the Coliseum. The park was literally filled with young Muslim men just hanging out doing nothing. It makes me very sad that Europe is no longer European and Christian. I was especially sad to see this in Rome, the center of Roman Catholicism. I would really like to go back before it is completely overrun by Muslims.

They (Islam) plan the demise of Israel. I think Israel has suffered plenty of persecution in recent memory and deserves a break.
ReplyDeleteBut to the riddance of Christian Europe we merrily march. Muslims do not have the interest of concord among non-Muslims. They live in the vortex of war: them against the world (which is non-Muslim). Besides, Islam sprang from idolaters, degraded pagans of the desert – a pagan descent that conquered in arms (versus the Judeo-Christian line).
let us encourge everyone to offer THE HOLY SACRIFICE OF THE MASS for the the conversion and salvation of their souls instead of encouraging people to hate others.
